Arm/Disarm Enhancement
Introduction
Welcome to the User Manual for the latest enhancements in our Customer Portal! This guide offers a detailed overview of the new features in the disarm functionality, crafted to enhance your user experience.
User Guide
- In the Customer Portal or Mobile App - please click on the "Arm/Disarm" toggle.
- Upon selecting "Disarm," a pop-up will prompt you to enter a note explaining why you are disarming your site. It's important to provide a detailed note to facilitate clear communication and for reference in the future.
- Options for selecting the end time or disarm period will be available.
- You can choose to specify the duration (‘For’ option) or select specific time( ‘Until’ option)
- The selected end time will be displayed in your site's timezone.
- Click on the Disarm button.
Important Note: Remember, after the specified duration, your site will automatically arm itself.
7. To acknowledge the warning, click the "OK" button on the pop-up.
Please remember:
- This warning will only appear once per disarm action.
- Your site will be armed back automatically upon reaching the specified time.
- Moreover, the ability to manually arm the site, as previously available, will persist. You can opt for this option in the same manner as you disarmed your site. This allows you to instantly arm your site if you prefer not to wait for the specified time to elapse.
Notifications:
- You will receive a text message after each disarm action.
- Similar text messages will be sent to the Primary Monitoring Contact and Secondary Monitoring Contact of your site as well.
- We will be using (+1 7262007187) as the sender phone number to send the text message.
